(Long Beach, CA) A 60-year-old woman was hit and fatally injured Thursday morning, December 11, in a crash on East Anaheim Street. Officers arrived at the scene around 6:20 a.m. to Rose Avenue and East Anaheim Street. They discovered the woman in the road and tried to perform life-saving procedures. Long Beach Fire Department staff took her to a hospital, where she later died. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified her as Seila Tes.. Initial findings show that a 2022 Honda Accord was heading west on East Anaheim Street. At some point, it struck Tes as she crossed the roadway in an unmarked crosswalk. According to police, speed, impairment, and distracted driving do not seem to be factors. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
