A school bus carrying six students collided with a gray GMC Terrain at the intersection of Art Parkway and Alix Parkway in California on Aug. 14, 2026. The crash was reported at approximately 2:33 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
The collision occurred at the intersection, which CHP identified as being within its South Sacramento area. The initial dispatch classified the incident as a traffic collision involving no reported injuries.
CHP reported that the school bus had six students aboard when it was involved in the crash with the gray GMC Terrain. The dispatch did not provide additional information about the vehicles or the circumstances leading to the collision.
A follow-up update issued at 2:35 p.m. stated that no injuries were reported among those involved. The available CHP information did not indicate whether the crash caused lane closures or required additional emergency services.
