A hit-and-run incident involving a school bus was reported Thursday afternoon on National Boulevard at Cheviot Vista. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving no reported injuries.
The incident was recorded at approximately 3:25 p.m. on Aug. 27, 2026. CHP dispatch information identified the vehicle as a school bus carrying five students.
The bus was reported not to be blocking traffic, according to a follow-up dispatch update issued shortly after the initial report. No lane blockage was documented at the location.
The CHP dispatch information did not provide additional details about the other vehicle involved in the hit-and-run. The incident was handled within the CHP’s Los Angeles area.
