Santa Ana, CA (May 15, 2026) – A hit-and-run collision resulting in injuries occurred Thursday, May 15, on northbound Interstate 5 just south of 4th Street in Santa Ana, Orange County. The crash involved at least two vehicles and injured at least one person. A gray Honda was hit by a white Toyota Corolla in the highway’s number one lane, which was temporarily closed after the collision. A fourth vehicle thought to be involved in the crash left the scene prior to the arrival of emergency responders. Police searched the area around the 4th Street exit for the missing vehicle but could not locate it. Both individuals involved in the main collision received medical attention at the scene. No additional information on the severity of the injuries has been confirmed so far. Authorities continue to investigate the incident. Our thoughts are with the injured as they work toward recovery.
