Santa Ana, CA (September 27, 2025) – Early Saturday morning, emergency responders were sent to a traffic accident with injuries on the southbound I-5 Freeway close to N Main St in Santa Ana. The incident was reported around 2:25 a.m. which led to a reaction from local law enforcement, firefighting teams, and emergency medical services. Emergency medical technicians arrived at the location and offered treatment to the individuals injured in the accident. One individual was injured and needs additional medical care, but authorities have not disclosed any specific information about their status. The incident led to delays on the southbound side of I-5 while emergency personnel handled the situation and provided aid to the injured. Traffic briefly decreased as emergency crews worked to remove vehicles and wreckage from the road. The reason for the accident remains unknown, and investigators are still collecting evidence. There has been no update on the number of vehicles that were part of the incident or if any tickets were given.
