San Rafael, CA (January 14, 2026) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a collision involving two vehicles on southbound Highway 101 near Lincoln Avenue Sunday afternoon in San Rafael left at least one person injured. The crash happened around 2:03 p.m. , which prompted a response from local emergency crews. When officers arrived, they found two damaged vehicles and helped evaluate those involved. Paramedics treated at least one person on-site before transferring them to a local hospital for additional treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been revealed yet. Traffic on the impacted section of Highway 101 faced slight delays while responders cleared the road and launched an investigation into the crash’s cause. As of Wednesday, CHP officials continue to examine the incident. We hope for a quick and complete recovery for the injured individual.
