San Jose, CA (September 21, 2025) – A significant accident on southbound Interstate 880 close to Nevada Ave resulted in injuries to three individuals early Saturday morning, leading to a rapid reaction from various emergency services, as per reports from the San Jose Fire Department. The incident was documented around 2:22 a.m. First responders from Engine 7 and additional units were sent out with a “Delta” priority, which signifies a serious emergency medical situation. Upon their arrival, emergency personnel discovered three people wounded in the accident. Two patients were reported to require Code 3 transport, indicating they need urgent medical assistance with lights and sirens. The accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-880, a busy route connecting various parts of the Bay Area.
