A car crash occurred on the northbound on-ramp to Highway 87, leading to one individual experiencing neck pain on Monday morning, as per the San Jose Fire Department’s dispatch reports. The incident took place around 9:51 a.m. on October 27, 2024, close to the Bayshore Freeway entrance. A car crash occurred with a green Toyota Tacoma, which was hit with a high force from the side, leading to an urgent response for a possibly serious accident. But when Truck 13 arrived, they found that the situation was not as severe as initially thought. A person was assessed at the location for neck pain. Although medical assistance was given, the injuries were not deemed to be potentially fatal, and further emergency vehicles were freed from the incident. Officials stayed at the location temporarily to guarantee road safety and support the affected individuals. No further injuries have been reported, and the cause of the accident is currently being investigated.
