San Jose, CA (April 21, 2026) – A 63-year-old man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon along northbound Highway 87, just south of Interstate 280. The incident took place at approximately 3:15 p.m. It occurred on April 19 and included four vehicles. Authorities stated that a 2003 Nissan Frontier rear-ended a 2021 Toyota Sienna, shoving it into two other vehicles in front. The drivers of both the Toyota and Nissan were transported to a hospital for medical care. The Toyota driver, a 63-year-old man from San Jose, later succumbed to his injuries. The Nissan driver sustained minor injuries, with impairment not deemed a factor in the crash. The identity of the deceased man has not been released yet.
