San Jose, CA (November 8, 2025) – On Saturday afternoon, a car accident with reported injuries took place on US-101 Northbound at the Berryessa Rd off-ramp in San Jose, resulting in traffic delays and a response from emergency services. The incident was reported around 2:13 p.m. as stated by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The off-ramp at Berryessa Rd was closed due to the accident, necessitating traffic detours while emergency personnel responded on-site. Emergency medical technicians arrived to aid those who were injured, but the count of persons harmed and the extent of their injuries remain undisclosed. Authorities have not verified the number of vehicles engaged in the collision or the precise conditions that caused it. CHP officers stayed at the scene for a long time, controlling traffic and starting an investigation into what happened. Drivers were warned to anticipate major delays in the area because of the closed off-ramp and the emergency vehicles.
