The incident took place at approximately 11:56 a.m. On Friday, April 17, close to the intersection of Story Road and Lucretia Avenue in the city’s Little Saigon neighborhood. Emergency services arrived at the site of a multi-vehicle accident. Officials verified that one individual was killed in the crash. Authorities have not released any further information regarding the number of vehicles involved or additional injuries. Officials noted that portions of Story Road, including the stretch between McLaughlin Avenue and Roberts Avenue, were shut down for several hours while crews inspected the scene.
