San Jose, CA (December 20, 2025) – Late Saturday morning, a crash involving multiple vehicles on southbound CA-85 led to injuries and traffic backups in the San Jose region. The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. Close to the Camden Ave exit, impacting the right shoulder of the highway. Paramedics and emergency crews arrived at the scene to treat those injured in the collision. Multiple victims were injured and given on-site medical attention before being taken to local hospitals for additional care. Officials have not yet disclosed the full extent of the injuries. The crash involved at least two vehicles and caused a traffic backup in the southbound lanes of CA-85 while responders managed the scene and cleared the vehicles. Commuters in the area were warned to anticipate delays while the right shoulder stayed blocked amid cleanup and investigation activities. The California Highway Patrol is heading the probe into the crash’s cause. Authorities are gathering evidence and witness statements to establish the timeline of events leading to the crash.
