San Jose, CA (October 4, 2025) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a two-car collision on Interstate 280 close to Highway 17 on Thursday evening resulted in serious injuries to one individual. The accident was reported around 5:24 PM. and included a pickup truck and an SUV. Emergency services reached the location to discover one person who had sustained severe injuries. Emergency medical responders administered preliminary care prior to taking the injured person to a local hospital for additional treatment. The status of the injured individual has not been disclosed. Traffic on I-280 was briefly affected while emergency personnel attended to those involved and cleared the wrecked vehicles from the highway. CHP officers recorded the incident and initiated their inquiry into the circumstances that preceded the accident. The specific reason has not been established yet. We are keeping the injured victim in our thoughts and hope for their complete and stable recovery.
