San Francisco, CA (January 15, 2026) – Local sources report that a car crash late at night at the Plymouth Ave and Thrift St intersection caused injuries and prompted an emergency response in the Oceanview area. The crash happened just after 11:12 p.m. on Wed. Early reports show that two cars crashed at the intersection for unknown reasons, both suffering noticeable damage. One vehicle reportedly stopped near the curb, while the other obstructed part of the intersection. Medics and firefighters arrived quickly to evaluate the condition of those involved. Multiple individuals received on-site treatment for various injuries, with at least one person taken to a local hospital for further care. Officials have yet to confirm the total number of injured individuals. Authorities temporarily closed off access to the intersection as they secured the area and removed the debris. By early Thursday morning, the road was fully reopened. The investigation continues as officers seek to identify the crash’s cause and any potential traffic violations involved.
