San Francisco, CA (January 15, 2026) – A collision involving at least two vehicles led to injuries and traffic disruptions Wednesday evening at the Jennings St and Cargo Way intersection in San Francisco’s Bayview District. The incident was reported around 8:45 p.m. which prompted a quick reaction from local fire and medical teams. One of the vehicles involved suffered major front-end damage, while the other stopped partially blocking the eastbound lane of Cargo Way. First responders, including paramedics and firefighters, treated multiple people at the scene. Several individuals suffered injuries of varying severity, with at least one taken to a local hospital for further treatment. Authorities have yet to disclose additional information on the victims or their status. The crash’s location caused brief traffic disruptions in the industrial area close to the Port of San Francisco. Emergency response teams spent more than an hour clearing the area and examining the events that preceded the incident. The cause of the crash is still being investigated. Investigators are probing whether poor visibility or a failure to yield played a role in the crash. We hope for a complete and swift recovery for everyone hurt in the incident.
