San Francisco, CA (December 20, 2025) – An injury-involved car crash was reported Friday evening in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset area, leading to a medical and fire department response at the Funston Ave and Lincoln Way intersection. The incident took place at approximately 9:22 p.m. , close to the western boundary of Golden Gate Park. The crash involved at least two vehicles and resulted in multiple injuries at the scene. San Francisco Fire Department crews and paramedics responded swiftly, offering medical treatment to those hurt in the collision. The injured individuals received on-site evaluation and care for their various injuries. Authorities have yet to disclose information on the number of individuals affected or the severity of their injuries. The roadway faced short-term closures while emergency responders secured the scene and probed the crash details. An inquiry continues to identify the cause and factors involved in the incident.
