San Diego, CA (December 22, 2025) – Emergency reports indicate that a collision between two SUVs at high speed on eastbound CA-905 injured three people Sunday night. The incident took place around 7:42 p.m. Op 21 december. Officials reported that one compact SUV was sideswiped by another vehicle traveling at about 70 to 80 mph. The collision occurred while both vehicles were traveling at highway speeds. Three people were injured: a 37-year-old woman who is reportedly 15 weeks pregnant, a 67-year-old woman, and a 58-year-old man who was driving one of the SUVs. Everyone was wearing seatbelts, and the airbags deployed upon impact. Paramedics arrived promptly, evaluated and stabilized all three patients, and then transported them to Sharp Chula Vista Hospital. The pregnant woman experienced head pain, while the other two victims reported pain in their heads, necks, and backs. Thankfully, no patients lost consciousness and all stayed alert at the scene. The California Highway Patrol is probing the incident to establish the timeline of events and decide on any potential citations or charges.
