San Diego, CA (October 25, 2025) – On Friday morning, a collision involving multiple vehicles occurred near Santa Fe St in the Mission Bay region of San Diego, resulting in at least one individual being hurt. The crash was reported at approximately 9:39 AM, leading to a response from the San Diego City Police, Fire Department, and California Highway Patrol. Emergency responders arrived at Santa Fe St near Garnett Ave and Damon Ave, where multiple vehicles were involved, close to the Mission Bay Collision Body Shop. Medical personnel assessed several people on-site. One individual suffered injuries and was treated by medical professionals, whereas the other parties involved, including the driver of a red car, chose not to seek medical attention even though they might have been hurt. Medic 1, together with Engine 27 and additional responding teams, managed the scene and conducted a medical evaluation. The victim received care on-site, but officials have not yet verified if they needed to be transported to a hospital. The California Highway Patrol stayed at the scene to record details of the accident and manage traffic in the vicinity. The crash led to brief interruptions in the industrial and commercial areas near Santa Fe St. Investigators are examining the factors involved in the collision, such as potential speed issues, lane merging, or driver distraction.
