San Diego, CA (October 9, 2025) – On Wednesday afternoon, emergency responders attended to a car accident involving multiple vehicles, resulting in injuries, on eastbound Interstate 8 close to Mission City Parkway in San Diego. The accident was reported at approximately 4:32 p.m. and necessitated a unified reaction from various fire and medical teams. Officials reported that multiple individuals were injured in the accident, including a 73-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man. Healthcare workers from various departments provided assistance at the location and took the injured people to local hospitals for additional care. The specifics of their injuries were not revealed right away. Traffic in the vicinity experienced temporary disruptions as emergency responders aided the victims and cleared the street.
