San Diego, CA (May 11, 2026) – A pedestrian sustained injuries in a hit-and-run incident in San Diego on Monday, May 11. The incident was reported at approximately 7:42 a.m. near Logan Avenue and Cesar E. Chavez Parkway. The incident was reported as a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash. The incident occurred on the on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5 in the vicinity. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene soon after the collision was reported. The initial report omitted details about the pedestrian’s condition as well as any description of the vehicle that fled the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
