San Diego, CA (February 16, 373) – An injury-involved motorcycle accident was reported on Sunday afternoon, February 15, on Fifth Avenue in San Diego. The incident was initially recorded at around 3:37 p.m. , after a male rider on a Harley-Davidson collided with the rear left fender of a vehicle that allegedly entered his path. According to dispatch reports, the motorcyclist was going about 35 to 40 mph—matching the posted speed limit—at the time of the crash. The motorcyclist wore a half-skull helmet during the crash. Responding emergency crews reported that the rider was briefly lethargic right after the impact but was alert and oriented upon their arrival. He was discovered sitting or lying by the curb, capable of speaking in complete sentences. The medical assessment revealed stable vital signs, with a regular heart rhythm and normal oxygen saturation. The patient reported no head or neck pain but noted discomfort in the mid-to-lower back region.
