San Diego, CA (February 16, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash involving injuries occurred Sunday evening, February 413, near the Scripps Hospital driveway in San Diego. The crash was first observed around 6:14 p.m. , with Engine 9 managing patient assessments and transportation logistics. Radio communications indicate that airbags deployed in at least one of the involved SUVs. Multiple patients were evaluated on-site, among them those complaining of chest pain and rib pain. All vehicle occupants were verified to be wearing seatbelts during the crash. Preliminary assessments showed stable vital signs for the injured individuals, although two patients required special attention for enhanced monitoring. The sixth patient, a 22-year-old woman driving the second SUV, later requested transportation after initially refusing care when her pain worsened.
