The incident took place on Tuesday, December 23, around 8:46 p.m. , based on dispatch reports linked to an incident near UC San Diego Medical Center. The dispatch call revealed a potential injury crash in the area, leading to a joint response by police and fire services. Paramedics assessed and treated those involved at the scene for various injuries. One individual was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center for additional medical care. The vicinity around W Arbor Dr saw short-term emergency operations while crews managed the incident and confirmed the road was secure. Authorities have not disclosed further information about the number of vehicles involved or the circumstances of the crash, and the matter is still under investigation.
