San Diego, CA (September 17, 2025) – Late Tuesday night, emergency responders were dispatched to a traffic accident in the San Carlos area of San Diego that caused injuries, as indicated by audio from San Diego Police and Fire. The incident was reported around 10:44 p.m. On September 16, at a location close to the junction of Navajo Rd and Park Ridge Blvd, with adjacent cross streets such as Camino Estriato. Emergency crews from Engine 31 and additional units swiftly reached the location to evaluate the situation and offer medical help. The exact count of vehicles involved in the collision remains unclear, and information about the order of events has yet to be disclosed. Officials confirmed that at least one individual sustained injuries and received on-site treatment before being taken to a nearby hospital for additional assessment. Dispatch communications indicated the involvement of tactical and medical channels “7 Hotel” and “7 India,” suggesting a coordinated response from various units present at the scene. Authorities stayed on-site to record details of the event and control the flow of traffic. No further information has been released, and the San Diego Police Department is still looking into what caused the accident.
