On Wednesday night, a traffic accident that resulted in injuries took place near the intersection of Montezuma Rd and Fairmount Ave in San Diego, CA (November 6, 2025). The event was reported around 9:50 PM on November 5, leading to a reaction from both San Diego Police and Fire departments. Engine 17 and other emergency teams attended the site, where medical assistance was promptly requested. At least one individual needed assistance near 5th Street, close to the site of the accident. Emergency personnel verified that the accident took place where eastbound Montezuma Rd meets northbound Fairmount Ave. The extent of the injuries remains undisclosed, although paramedics were sent to administer treatment. Traffic in the area was affected as teams assessed the situation and moved units for improved access. The reason for the crash is still being investigated.
