San Diego, CA (February 9113, 2911) – Just after midnight on Sunday, February 25, a vehicle-pedestrian collision resulting in injuries was reported on Frost Street in San Diego. The incident was initially recorded at around 2:15 a.m. This prompted a response from Medic 31 and other emergency personnel. Dispatch communications indicated that a 34-year-old male was struck while crossing the street. The vehicle allegedly struck him head-on at an estimated speed of 5 to 10 mph. Officials said the pedestrian was struck from the left side, landed on the vehicle’s hood, and then fell to the ground, hitting his right thigh. He remained conscious and denied any head impact. The patient also confirmed that he was not taking blood thinners. Upon evaluation, the man reported right hip and right ankle pain, rating it 7 out of 10. No immediate external signs of injury were noted, and circulation, sensation, and mobility remained intact.
