San Diego, CA (September 18, 2025) – A traffic collision close to the corner of 7th Street and 4th Avenue led to injuries for at least one individual late Wednesday morning. The event took place at approximately 11:58 a.m. This triggered a response from the San Diego Fire Department, specifically Engine 2. Emergency responders quickly reached the downtown site to evaluate the situation and offer medical assistance to those injured. The severity of the injuries remains unverified, but the victim needed assistance at the location. The necessity for hospital transport has not been made known. This section of San Diego is a bustling area, often used by both commuters and visitors. Being close to major junctions and experiencing heavy traffic during lunch hours can raise the chances of accidents. Officials did not disclose how many vehicles were involved or what caused the accident. Traffic experienced temporary disruptions as emergency responders assisted the injured and worked to clear the road. Authorities are still looking into the details of the accident and plan to provide more updates when they can.
