San Diego, CA – On November 24, 2025, a pedestrian sustained severe injuries on a Friday night following an incident where they were hit by a motorcycle in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. The crash happened at approximately 9:20 p.m. On Garnet Ave in the 1900 block, as per the San Diego Police Department, a 35-year-old male was struck by a Suzuki 1500 motorcycle heading east while crossing the east crosswalk in a south direction, according to authorities. According to reports, the pedestrian was walking against the red light when the accident occurred. First responders acted promptly and took the pedestrian to a nearby hospital, where he was diagnosed with several injuries such as a broken thigh bone and a slashed liver. A 21-year-old male motorcyclist was injured, with abrasions among his wounds. The police mentioned that alcohol or drug impairment is not considered to have contributed to the accident. The inquiry is still in progress to identify all the factors involved. We are thinking of the injured pedestrian and hope for a complete and quick recovery for both individuals.
