Salinas, CA (December 30, 2025) – A 26-year-old woman suffered injuries on Monday afternoon when she was hit by a vehicle near the Freedom Parkway and Boronda Road intersection in Salinas. The incident was reported at approximately 4:05 p.m. According to Monterey County Fire and EMS dispatch audio, the pedestrian was struck by a white Audi A6 under circumstances that remain unconfirmed. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the woman conscious and breathing, despite suffering stomach pain from the impact. Medical staff then transported the injured pedestrian for additional evaluation and treatment. Her condition at the hospital has not been disclosed. Authorities are still investigating the crash and have not decided whether any citations or charges will be issued related to the incident.
