Sacramento, CA (April 3, 2026) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after a vehicle struck them in Sacramento. The incident happened just before 10:15 p.m. On Thursday, April 2, in the 2900 block of Ramona Avenue. Emergency services arrived at the location following reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. Responders discovered the victim suffering from serious injuries upon their arrival. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital for medical care and subsequently reported to be in stable condition. The identity of the injured individual has not been disclosed. Officials stated that the driver stayed at the scene after the crash and cooperated with investigators. Officials noted there were no immediate indications that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. Authorities are still probing the cause, with additional details to be shared as they emerge.
