Sacramento, CA (March 15, 2026) – Minor injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle crash, including two police units, in Sacramento’s south Natomas area on Saturday night, March 14. Initial reports indicate the incident happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of San Juan Road. Officials verified that a single police car was part of the crash at the site. The cause of the crash remains unexplained. Emergency responders discovered multiple damaged vehicles at the site. Later, two police vehicles were towed away, one of them heavily damaged. Three more vehicles from the crash were also towed away from the area. The intersection near Truxel Road stayed closed for several hours as crews cleared the site and directed traffic. The roadway was reopened to motorists just before 11 p.m. Officials reported that the crash caused minor injuries, although the exact number of those injured remains unconfirmed.
