Sacramento, CA (January 30, 2026) – A crash with at least four vehicles caused injuries on Wednesday morning in downtown Sacramento. The crash took place at the intersection of 26th Street and H Street, prompting a major response from Sacramento police and emergency medical personnel. Dispatch audio indicates the incident was reported around 10:36 a.m. On 28 January. The crash involved a Ford, a blue Honda CR-V, a gray sedan, and a white Ford Explorer. Emergency personnel arriving at the scene reported several injured parties. At least two individuals in the vehicles were pregnant, prompting an expedited medical response. One woman seemed to have an arm injury, while another driver reported chest pain possibly from the airbag deploying. Both individuals were assessed at the scene, with at least one taken to a hospital for additional care. One vehicle—thought to be a Ford Edge—suffered major front-end damage, while the white Ford Explorer, driven by a single occupant who was unharmed, was reported uninjured. No fatalities were reported, and the conditions of other individuals involved have not been released. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
