Multi-vehicle hit-and-run accidents can happen when an initial collision triggers a chain reaction. A vehicle that’s hit might be forced into a different lane or into another car, causing further crashes. These scenarios grow more complicated if a driver flees the scene, complicating efforts to figure out how the accident began and who was at fault. Vehicle locations, damage patterns, and witness statements frequently clarify the order of events. Despite scarce initial information, these elements can offer a better understanding of how the crash unfolded.
