Sacramento, CA (March 20, 2026) – One person died in a crash early Friday morning on Business 80 near Marconi Avenue. Emergency responders arrived after the California Highway Patrol reported the incident at around 1:55 a.m. Eyewitnesses observed a body being placed into a coroner’s van at the scene. Emergency crews handled the scene as traffic was briefly rerouted from the freeway at El Camino Avenue. Additional information regarding the vehicles involved or the crash circumstances has not yet been disclosed. Officials are still probing the reason behind the collision.
