Sacramento, CA (March 2, 2026) – A crash involving two vehicles took place Sunday afternoon, March 1, on southbound SR-99 at the Bruceville Rd offramp. Emergency services arrived on scene at about 4:45 p.m. Following reports of a collision blocking the offramp, officials stated that a black Ford Focus rear-ended a Hyundai while trying to pass the vehicle. The collision damaged the Hyundai and left both vehicles temporarily inoperable on the offramp. No injuries were reported right away. Traffic slowed in the area as crews cleared the vehicles from the lanes. The roadway was cleared after the vehicles were shifted to the shoulder.
