Sacramento, CA (October 7, 2025) – According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, a woman was injured after a vehicle hit her while she was walking her dog late Sunday night near Coyle Avenue. The accident happened at approximately 11:00 p.m. On October 5, the victim entered an emergency room and reported the accident the next morning. The hit-and-run incident allegedly occurred close to the junction of Coyle Avenue and Hillsdale Boulevard. As per the CHP dispatch, the vehicle involved in the incident was characterized as a modified car that had its lights off during the collision. The driver left the scene without providing assistance, and details about the victim’s condition remain undisclosed. Authorities are currently investigating to locate the vehicle and driver responsible for this serious hit-and-run incident. We offer our support to the injured woman and wish her a speedy recovery.
