Sacramento, CA (October 7, 2025) – A scooter rider sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Monday morning at the crossroads of 26th Street and X Street in Sacramento, as reported by police dispatch. The accident took place around 10:40 a.m. The pedestrian was reportedly alert and conversing with the responders, but expressed discomfort in their foot. Emergency medical staff were summoned to the location to offer help and assess the severity of the injury. Initially, there was some confusion in the dispatch communications suggesting the person might have been on a bicycle; however, it was subsequently verified that they were riding a scooter at the time of the accident. Officials have not provided additional information regarding the vehicle implicated in the incident or the circumstances that led to the crash.
