A 33-year-old motorcyclist named Ruben Delgado from Desert Hot Springs passed away on October 28th in a crash on Dillon Road, Sky Valley, CA. The accident involved a collision with a trash truck, as reported by Officer David Torres from the California Highway Patrol Indio area office. The incident took place at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Dillon Road to the west of Prospect Road. During their investigation, authorities discovered that Delgado was riding a Yamaha motorcycle in a westward direction on the street. Suddenly, he crashed into a garbage truck that was turning left from the eastbound lane. Paramedics took Delgado to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where he was declared dead. No additional injuries were reported in the incident. CHP investigators stated that alcohol and drugs are not believed to have played a role in the crash. The reason is still being examined.
