On November 15, 2025, a traffic accident causing injuries took place on the northbound side of State Route 57 close to Tonner Canyon in Rowland Heights. This event led to an emergency response and temporary freeway closure, which was reported at around 11:08 p.m. on Friday night. as per dispatch communications. Emergency personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol quickly headed to the location. Emergency medical technicians evaluated and treated the victims of the accident, with one person being taken to a close-by hospital for additional medical attention. The collision occurred on a section of SR-57 that is recognized for fast-paced driving and dense late-night traffic. The vehicles stayed at the location while first responders handled the situation and provided aid to those who were hurt. Traffic lanes were temporarily impacted as crews worked to ensure safety and clear the road. Officials have not yet revealed the number of people involved or the exact cause of the collision. The CHP is currently conducting an investigation to identify factors like speed, impairment, or driver error that may have contributed to the incident. We are thinking of those injured in this crash and hope for their quick and complete recovery.
