Rosemead, CA (May 12, 2026) – A woman was hurt after a vehicle slammed into a laundromat in Rosemead Monday night, May 11. The accident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. At LaundryMax Ecowash, located in the 8500 block of Garvey Avenue, emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle that had reversed into the building. A woman who had been inside the laundromat was injured and transported to a hospital. Her condition has not been disclosed. A witness reported that the vehicle crashed through the glass while customers were inside washing clothes. The witness further stated that the vehicle then hit a pole on the other side of the parking lot. The driver’s age and identity have not been verified. The incident is still under investigation. Further information could emerge as officials proceed with their investigation.
