Rosemead, CA (October 21, 2025) – Authorities have reported that a tragic accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian resulted in the death of 30-year-old Aric Verador Mesina early Sunday morning on the 10 Freeway. The incident happened around 5:55 a.m. on October 20, located just to the west of Rosemead Boulevard. The California Highway Patrol reported that Mesina was hit by at least one vehicle while walking on the freeway. The specific reasons for his presence on the road are still being investigated. Emergency services responded promptly but discovered that Mesina had suffered life-threatening injuries. He was declared dead at the location. No further injuries have been reported, and information about the vehicle or driver involved has not been disclosed. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, including the potential impact of visibility or road conditions.
