Riverside, CA (January 8, 2026) – Emergency responders attended a severe multi-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon near Lincoln Ave and Adams St in Riverside, injuring three people with one trapped, per Riverside City Fire dispatch audio. The incident took place at approximately 12:06 p.m. It occurred on January 6 and featured a gray Chevy SUV and a black Ford truck. Scene officials stated that the truck driver couldn’t get out of the vehicle and needed help. Emergency responders confirmed at least one person trapped and three people injured in total. Rescue teams started extrication operations and initiated triage and treatment. The roadway west of Adams St was temporarily closed to ensure safe access for emergency units and ambulances to the scene. The extent of injuries to those involved has not been released. Officials are still probing the reason behind the crash and will share more information when it emerges.
