Riverside, CA (October 22, 2025) – A vehicle collision on westbound CA-91 near the 14th Street exit resulted in roadway blockage and injuries to a pedestrian Monday evening, according to Riverside City Fire.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:43 p.m. on October 20. Emergency units including Engine 6, Engine 3, and AMR were dispatched to the scene after reports of a vehicle blocking the roadway and a pedestrian limping on the on-ramp.
Responders located a male individual near the accident scene who appeared injured, possibly having been involved in the crash. He was observed limping and required evaluation by paramedics. The vehicle involved, described as gray in color, was partially obstructing traffic lanes.
Though no other individuals were reported hurt, the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries remains unclear. Responders secured the scene and determined that no further emergency assistance was needed.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, including how the pedestrian came to be injured on the freeway.
