Riverside, CA (December 24, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Jurupa Ave in a Riverside neighborhood caused injuries and disrupted late-afternoon traffic. The incident took place on Tuesday, December 23, around 5:33 p.m. Near Jurupa Ave at the Nogales and Birch intersection, according to public-safety dispatch communications. Fire and medical teams arrived to discover two vehicles blocking all eastbound lanes, posing immediate traffic hazards in the area. One person needed medical help on-site, receiving initial care from paramedics prior to ongoing treatment. Police were called to help with traffic control as responders worked to handle the situation safely. Eastbound lanes on Jurupa Ave were briefly impacted while emergency personnel aided the injured person and ensured roadway safety. Officials have not provided further information on the cause of the collision or the injured person’s condition, and the incident is still under investigation.
