Riverside, CA (January 16, 2026) – An injury-involved traffic crash was reported early Thursday morning near Rutland Ave and Cypress Ave in Riverside. Emergency response teams arrived at the scene just before 6:00 a.m. After reports of a two-vehicle collision… Dispatch details suggested the involved vehicles could have been a Honda and a Ram. Upon arrival, responders discovered people requiring medical care and provided treatment on-site. The number and severity of injuries remain unconfirmed at this time. Authorities swiftly secured the scene, rerouted traffic, evaluated vehicle damage, and offered assistance to those affected. Tow services were called to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway. An investigation is ongoing to ascertain the events that led to the collision. Officials have not disclosed additional information on contributing factors or any citations.
