Riverside, CA (February 14, 2026) – Multiple individuals suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle accident late Friday morning at the 12th St and Ottawa Ave intersection in Riverside. The crash occurred on February 13 around 11:47 a.m. , which prompted a response from Riverside City Fire, including engine and truck companies as well as ambulance crews. The initial dispatch reported a possible trapped occupant in a sedan after the crash. Upon arrival, crews confirmed a two-vehicle traffic collision involving moderate to major damage. Firefighters evaluated the scene and confirmed that all vehicle occupants had exited their cars. Officials subsequently verified that nobody was trapped. However, responders reported three to five patients needing evaluation and care on-site. Extra ambulance units were called in to help with patient treatment. Tow services were subsequently called for both involved vehicles. Riverside Police officers also arrived to assist with traffic control and the investigation.
