A 74-year-old woman named Rima Manucharyan was tragically killed in a car accident on Pico Boulevard last Friday afternoon, October 24, as reported by the authorities. The Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Bureau stated that the incident took place around 5:00 p.m. close to the crossing of Pico Boulevard and Fox Hills Drive. Early reports stated that a black Audi Q3 from 2011 to 2018 was heading west on Pico. Eventually, the vehicle collided with Manucharyan as she was traversing southwards in a designated crosswalk. The driver is said to have left the scene without halting. First responders arrived swiftly but declared Manucharyan dead at the scene, according to the LAPD. Officials have encouraged anyone with knowledge to contact the West Traffic Bureau or the local Crime Stoppers hotline. Ongoing recovery efforts, which involve examining witnesses and videos, are aimed at locating the escaping vehicle and its driver. Manucharyan’s family established a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral costs. We offer our heartfelt sympathies to the victim’s family. Summary of the Pico Boulevard accident.
