In Rancho Cucamonga, CA on October 29, 2025, a cyclist was hurt after a collision with a pickup truck at the intersection of Cherry Avenue and Whittram Avenue, as per the California Highway Patrol records. The event took place around 5:40 a.m. After the individual operating a black Chevrolet Silverado informed authorities that he had collided with a pedestrian riding a bike. After the collision, the car moved to the right side of the road and, according to reports, was obstructing the lane for left turns when the California Highway Patrol arrived. Medical professionals from San Bernardino County Fire rushed to the scene and determined that the person injured had suffered moderately severe injuries. The person was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for additional care. Officials have not verified if the bicycle in question was motorized, although initial reports suggested that the incident might have involved either a standard bicycle or a motorcycle. The investigation is still in progress. There have been no additional injuries reported, and no citations or arrests have been made. We extend our best wishes to the injured cyclist and wish for a complete and smooth recovery.
