Rancho Cordova, CA (May 19, 2026) – A deadly collision occurred on Eagles Nest Road near Woodring Drive in Rancho Cordova on Monday, May 18, at around 9:17 a.m. A gray pickup truck veered into a ditch, which activated the vehicle’s automatic collision notification system. Two individuals were found at the location of the incident. Two more men were said to have fled the scene on foot following the collision, while a witness claimed to have seen a third individual depart in another vehicle. The coroner was summoned to the location. An evidence tow was called for, and the road was cleared during the early morning. Additional information regarding the victim and the details surrounding the accident has not been made public.
