A traffic collision was reported at about 3:39 p.m. Aug. 19 on eastbound Bennett Valley Road just east of Bennett Ridge Road in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with injuries unknown.
An update entered at 3:50 p.m. relayed a passerby’s report that another vehicle might also have been involved. The dispatch information did not confirm how many vehicles were ultimately part of the collision.
The same update described a dark sedan on the right side of the roadway. The parties involved were reported to be outside their vehicles when the information was relayed to CHP.
The incident was handled through the CHP’s Santa Rosa area. The available dispatch record did not provide additional information about injuries, lane closures, or whether medical assistance was requested.
